Sunday 24th, General Announcements

  1. There shall be a Marian Congress on Monday 08/08/2022 in the Parish centre beginning at 8am under the theme “ A pilgrimage of hope with the Blessed virgin Mary: Mother and intercessor.’’ In this light, there will be no meeting in the whole parish in the morning. All prayer and action groups are called upon to wear their uniforms on this day.
  2. The Parish Priest and the FINCOM immensely thank Mr. Afah Clement, Mr/Mrs Nkamsang for supporting St. Bernard church project with the sums of 50.000frs and 68.400frs respectively. They equally thank Precious Blood for supporting the Grotto project with the sum of 25.000frs. May the good Lord abundantly bless them.
  3. Deanery pastoral council general meeting holds in Kedjom Keku big Babanki on Wednesday 27/07/2022 at 9am. Those to attend are; PPC chair and secretary, Commission chair and secretary at Parish level and PPFT.
  4. The Lord Mayor of Tubah council wish to inform the parent of the under mentioned children whose birth Certificates have been established to pass round and crosscheck their information from today till Wednesday 27/07/2022.
  5. Seminary collection comes up on the 15th of August 2022 (Big day Maria). To this light, our Parish has been levied to pay 1,500,000frs which is distributed as follows Momnibie 1,000,000frs, St. Benedict mission 300,000frs and St. Bernard 200,000frs.
  6. Christians are informed that all office transactions (offering of Mass intentions, Announcements, Christian Contribution cards Etc) should be done in the Parish Secretariat not out of the office or on phone within working hours. Thanks for your usual understanding.
  7. The PPFT shall have a formation meeting with MPCs of St. Bernard and St. Benedict on Sunday 31/07/2022 after their various masses and the main mission on Monday 01/08/2022. those to attend are; all MPC exco, SCC leaders and Secretaries, MPFT, Commission  leaders and secretaries in the various missions.
  8. Doctrine in preparation for the sacrament of Holy Matrimony holds every Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm. Interested candidates should indicate and register in the parish secretariat.
  9. Christians are informed that poultry birds ie fowls are ready for sale here at the mission at very affordable price.
  10. Christians are reminded that there is a sacramental shop in the parish secretariat with interesting Novena booklets, Rosaries, statues, Bibles, incense, candle stands etc at affordable prices.
  11. All those born in the month of July should come prepared next Sunday in all the mission stations to thank God in a special way for their birthday anniversaries.
  12. The deanery youth council informs all the youths of the deanery that there shall be a three days youth formation organised by the Archdiocesan youth chaplain from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th July 2022 at St Peters Parish Bambui. All youths are encouraged to attend as there shall be  lots of activities during the formation. There shall also be choral music competition and to this effect the youths of the parish shall commence with practice tomorrow Monday 18th July at 3pm prompt at the new parish hall.
  13. The youths of the parish are informed of the 2022 diocesan youth camp which shall run from Tuesday 16th to Sunday 22nd August at ST. Pauls Comprehensive College Nkwen. All youths are expected to register with the sum of 5000frs portion as follows: logistics 3000frs, 300frs for booklet; 1700frs as transportation and pilgrimage to Abangoh. All youths are encouraged to register well ahead of time to facilitate preparations.
  14. Legion of Mary invites Parishioners to join them pray the Novena to St. John Marie Vianney for the intention of the priests. It starts on Tuesdays 26/07/2022 to 03/08/2022 after tghe 6am mass inside the church. Please come let us pray for our priests.

  3. MPC exco meeting holds on the 06/08/2022 immediately after the 6am mass. To attend are; MPFT and mission exco.
  4. Mission Commission  day holds on Monday 25/07/2022. all commission delegates at SCCs should take note.
  5. Registration for infant baptism is ongoing, pass through your SCC leaders and register
  6. Singing within the week: St. Ignatius SCC and St. Ignatius choir.

ST. BENEDICT MISSION  

  1. Our mission has been levied 300.000frs for the 2022 seminary collection. These levies has been shared according to SCCs as follows; St. Michael 45,000frs, St. Martin 48,000frs, St. Christopher 78,000frs, St. Thomas 81,000frs and St. Therese SCC 48,000frs. SCC leaders should start sensitization and collection immediately.

ST. BERNARD MISSION  

  1. Seminary collection levies; St. Stephen 100.000frs, St. Augustine 50.000frs and St. Kizito 50.000frs.
  2. The entire Christian community of St. Bernard mission are informed that SCCs, prayer and action groups shall be programmed to lead (animate) the liturgy during Sunday masses. To this light, the singing calendar for the month of July is as follows. Sunday  31/07/2022 CWA.
