Capuchin Sisters of Mother Rubatto
A few years after its creation, Our Lady of Fatima Parish was enriched by the coming of the Capuchin Sisters. This had been the wish of parishioners and other stakeholders in the Bambili community. While receiving news of the creation of Our Lady of Fatima Parish Bambili, Fon Awemo II in a joyous mood told the Archbishop that he was expecting Reverend Sisters to quickly come in and open not only a convent but also schools, hospitals, etc.
It was a dream come true in October 2004 when three Rev. Sisters of Eritrean nationality came and started setting up a convent. Situated on the site of the former Social Center, the Capuchin Sisters now run a Nursery and Primary School close to their convent. They are a vital component of Our Lady of Fatima Parish.
Apart from training novices for the sisterhood, they actively supervise Cadets of Mary activities, training of children in handiwork, handling of pastoral activities, etc.
