22nd SUNDAY IN ORDINARRY TIME- YEAR C (28th AUGUST 2022)

General Annoucements

  1. PPC General meeting holds  today Sunday 28/08/22 in St. Bernard Mission immediately after 8:30Am mass. All delegates should take special note and come with written reports.
  2. The 2022 harvest thanksgiving will run from Sunday 04/09/22 to the first week of December. The launching will be on Sunday 04/09/22 by all the  SCCs and some families that have indicated will do their family harvest on the same day. SCC leaders should sensitize their members and equally draw up and submit their schedule that will fall within the period indicated above. The schedule should be submitted at the Secretariat on or before Wednesday 24/09/22.
  3.  PPFT and Agents of Evangelization shall visit SCCs Momnibie mission on Monday 05/09/22 .
  4. The Capuchin Sisters and the Afegenui’s Family invite Parishioners to the Final Profession of their daughter Sr. Elizabeth on Saturday 03\09\22 here in the Parish Church beginning with Holy Mass to be presided by the Archbishop of Bamenda. Join us with your prayers and presence. The uniform for the final profession is available at the parish secretariat at the cost of 5000frs. 
  5.  Sr. Pamela reminds all the children of their activities every Sundays from 3pm.  Parents are equally reminded to always send their children on time.
  6.  All the SCCs in charge of the cemetery are reminded to clean their portions. The SCCs are: St Ignatius, St Michael, St Peter and some SCCs of St Benedict mission.
  7. The Parish Priest and FINCOM thank the Marist seminarians in Rome for supporting St. Bernard's church project with the sum of 70,000frs .
  8. Legion of Mary invites Christians to join them pray the Novena to the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary starting from the 30th to the 7th of September everyday in church .
  9.  Join choir practice in preparation for final profession of Sr. Elizabeth  will be on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 3:00pm all choristers in the parish should take note.

MOMNNIBIE  MISSION   

  1. Church cleaning: Today Sunday evening; St. Anthony choir, next Sunday evening; St. Ignatius choir. 
  2. Singing within the week: Emmanuel SCC next week St. Peter SCC.
  3. Legion of Mary invites Christians to join them pray the Novena in preparation for the Feast of the Nativity starting from Tuesday 30/08/22 to Wednesday 07/09/22 after the 6:00am mass. All the Marian Groups should take note.
  4. All Christians in the mission should come out massively to clean the gutters behind the church tomorrow Monday after the 6am mass.
  5. Plead with all the Christians to turn out massively on tomorrow Monday to clean the gutters

ST. BENEDICT  MISSION  

  1. All the SCC Catechists will have a meeting on Wednesday after morning mass.
  2. We continue to encourage Christians and to inform them that a new choir will be coming up in our mission. They meet every Thursday at 4:pm Christians are called upon to  join them.
  3. Christians are reminded to always buy  the Sunday news letter because the Parish uses money to print them so when they are not sold it puts the Parish in to a deficit.
  4. Following the 2022 harvest thanks giving announced  by the Parish to run from 4th of September to the 4th of December Christians are called upon to give a day of their choice to SCC leaders so that it can facilitate the process else the Mission Council will prepare a schedule. 
  5. MPC meeting holds on Sunday 04/09/22. St. Christopher SCC shall host and shall be the SCC to clean the church every Tuesdays and Saturday beginning from the 03/09/22
