21ST SUNDAY IN ORDINARRY TIME- YEAR C (21ST AUGUST 2022)

General Annoucements

  1. PPC General meeting holds on Sunday 28/08/22 in St. Bernard Mission. All delegates should take special note and come with written reports.
  2. Parish Commission Day holds on Monday 22/08/22 immediately after the 6:30am mass. All Commission Chairs and Secretaries at parish level should take note.
  3. The 2022 harvest thanksgiving will run from Sunday 04/09/22 to the first week of December. The launching will be on Sunday 04/09/22 by all the  SCCs and some families that have indicated will do their family harvest on the same day. SCC leaders should sensitize their members and equally draw up and submit their schedule that will fall within the period indicated above. The schedule should be submitted at the Secretariat on or before Wednesday 24/09/22.
  4. Mother Francesca school announces that the school fees remain the same for this academic year. 65000frs for Nursery and 51500frs for primary and the payment is in two instalment. Registration is currently going on every Tuesday to Friday beginning from 9am.
  5.  Books for the Archdiocesan Marian Congress are available  at the Parish Secretariat for sale at 2000frs each.
  6. PPFT and Agents of Evangelization shall visit SCCs in the Parish  according to the following schedules: Monday 22/08/22: Sts. Benedict and Bernard missions. Monday  29/08/22 and 05/09/22 Momnibie mission.
  7. In thanks giving to God for the gift of Religious Life in the Church and in our Parish in particular, the Parish Priest informs all Christians there shall be a second collection next Sunday to support the Final profession of Sr Afegenui Elizabeth Kinyuy and the Silver Jubilee of Sr Cecilia Foleng. Christians should come prepared for this collection.
  8. The Capuchin Sisters and the family of Sr Afegenui Elizabeth Kinyuy invite Parishioners to the Final Profession of their daughter Sr Elizabeth on Saturday 03\09\22 here in the Parish Church beginning with Holy Mass to be presided by the Archbishop of Bamenda. Join us with your prayers and presence.
  9.  Sr. Pamela reminds all the children of their activities every Sundays from 3pm.  Parents are equally reminded to always send their children on time.
  10.  All the SCCs in charge of the cemetery are reminded to clean their portions. The SCCs are: St Ignatius, St Michael, St Peter and some SCCs of St Benedict mission.
  11. The Parish Priest and FINCOM thank Mary Ngwinui Akouyu, RENIT and Judith Andangfung St Thomas Scc Menkegele  for supporting St Bernard project with the sum of 177,000Frs, 37,150Frs 10000 and 25,000Frs respectively.

  1. Church cleaning: Today evening: Queen of Peace choir, next Sunday evening St. Anthony choir.
  2. Singing within the week: St. Monica SCC.
  3. MPC exco meeting holds on Saturday 27\08\22, immediately after the 6:00am  mass. MSPFT should take note. 
  4. Registration  for infant baptism is on going. Christians should pass through their SCC and register. Doctrine classes start on Monday 22nd of August immediately after the 6:00.am mass.
